Course Overview

What is required to ensures a project succeeds?...What makes a good manager? Combine these two and you have the ingredients for effective project management.This two-day workshop examines the skills required by the modern day manager to effectively implement projects in the workplace.The theoretical components and phases of project management are analysed, with emphasis placed on the areas of quality standards, project planning, budgetary
requirements, reporting and critical path tracking. A section on identification of risk and risk management reveals how one may nullify any negative events that may impact upon the successful completion of a project.

After completion of the 2-day theory based workshop, participants will have to supply to Accrete further work-based evidence and/or written assessment to be deemed competent and receive a statement of attainment for BSBCMN419A Manage Projects and BSBCMN416A Identify Risk and apply Risk Management Processes.

Alternatively a student may wish to work through the recognition process for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Participants seeking RPL will need to make an appointment with one of our Consultants to determine suitability for RPL.
