Course Overview
The 1 day course will give participants re-accreditation for the knowledge and practical skills required for Confined Space Entry. It is a requirement as stated in the Australian/New Zealand Standard 2865:2001 that personnel be retrained at regular intervals. Upon successful completion and assessment throughout the workshop participants will be re-issued with an updated Student Identification Card and a new expiry date.
All participants are required to provide proof of a current Confined Space Entry Certificate which has been issued within the previous 2 years.
Dress
A minimum standard of clothing consisting of short trousers, sleeved shirt and fully enclosed footwear is required. Failure to wear the correct clothing may result in training being refused.
Drug and Alcohol Policy
Alcohol cannot be consumed on Accrete premises. In the opinion of management, if a participant is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, then management shall remove that person from Accrete premises. Notification to the person’s employer may be made if the employer paid for the course.
Pre-requisites
Participants must have successfully completed these units of competency within the last two years. For participants who have not previously been trained at Accrete, a copy of a Statement of Attainment provided by another training organisation will be required as proof of previous training. If there are any medical concerns they must be discussed with Accrete prior to attending the course.
