Course overview
This course is designed for personnel who require knowledge and understanding of hazardous goods in their workplace.
Participants will gain understanding of the Dangerous Goods Acts and regulations.They will be instructed in the correct identification and selection of appropriate PPE protection.They will gain an understanding of Hazchem codes and placards and what constitutes a dangerous or hazardous good.
Dress
A minimum standard of clothing consisting of long trousers, long sleeved shirt and fully enclosed footwear and hat is required. Failure to wear the correct clothing may result in training being refused.
Drug and Alcohol Policy
Alcohol cannot be consumed on Accrete premises. In the opinion of management, if a participant is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, then management shall remove that person from Accrete premises. Notification to the person’s employer may be made if the employer paid for the course.
